Context
The landscape of customer service was evolving, with users expecting seamless, integrated support within mobile apps and online experiences rather than needing to leave platforms to seek assistance.
Mission
Replace an outdated embedded support modal with a streamlined, nifty and neutral "embeddable" that can sit elegantly and unobtrusively on any website and deliver in 6 months. After doing this, we commenced the integration of this new product with an existing Live Chat tool (Zopim) that Zendesk had acquired earlier in 2014. Over time, the product evolved into an omni-channel communication tool used by 30K+ customers. Learn more here.
Role
I operated as an individual contributor and led design for this initiative. This work involved extensive collaboration with teams in Australia and Singapore.
